Lonesome Bill Walker (he/him)

I’m small town-raised and medium city-living. I make paintings on paper, wood, fiber, and found objects about censorship, transsexualism, and barriers to better living. I work from my home studio, the communal worktables at Milwaukee Makerspace, and in the living rooms and kitchens of my many creative friends across the US. Additionally, I spend my days at Akara Arts tending the garden, screen printing, and apprenticing under tattooer Scott LaShay. When I’m not making art, I’m at the rodeo eating corndogs or out in nature.
